Rules & Policies
“Applicable to all ABC Readers”
- The final decision to award points for any activity under ABC Readers rests solely with the Book Reviewers and the ABC Board. Their judgment will be final and binding.
- Readers earn points for every round they successfully clear. Each point carries a monetary value (in Indian Rupees), which can be redeemed only after a reader clears Level 1. ABC reserves the right to revise the value of points at any time.
- If a reader signs up for a meeting, book review, or any other scheduled activity and fails to attend without prior notice, ABC may deduct points as a penalty. Repeated no-shows may lead to temporary suspension from future rounds.
- The first book received after clearing the Trial Round is provided as a free gift. For subsequent rounds, ABC may deduct the cost of the book from the reader’s reward money.
- Readers are responsible for providing accurate personal details, including name, address, and contact information. If a book is returned due to an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the reader, and the reader requests a re-shipment, the reader will bear the additional delivery charges.
- By agreeing to these policies, you consent to ABC storing your information in any medium and using it for internal analysis, performance tracking, and program improvement. Your data will not be sold or shared with external parties without consent, except where legally required.
- Readers are expected to maintain respectful behaviour towards mentors, reviewers, and fellow participants. Any form of misconduct, abuse, or disrespect may lead to suspension or removal from the program.
- ABC reserves the right to modify the structure of rounds, reward mechanisms, point values, or any part of the program at any time.
- Any disputes regarding points, reviews, or decisions shall be addressed to the ABC Board.
The Board’s decision will be final. - ABC may terminate or suspend a reader’s membership if they repeatedly violate rules, misuse the system, or engage in activities that harm the integrity of the program.
